medafORACLE is an emcee's emcee residing in Phoenix, AZ. Nourished on Hip Hop he lives and breaths it daily and it shows in every song he writes and records. Known for his witty punch lines and trickery word play, he mixes this into songs containing substance and content. This is what separates him from other emcees. Featured on Green Lantern's "MySpace Takeover" mix tape in 2007, he has just released his own entitled "Abandoned Tracks". Other previous releases are "The Forgotten Son"-2005 "Long Live Hip Hop EP"-2007 "Food, Rent, Water or Gas"-2009 and "FINDINMED"-2010. His latest project is set for release late summer of 2010 with fellow Hip Hopper and producer from IL, Gilson. The project is titled "Mouth West" A duo of an emcee residing in the Southwest (medafORACLE) and producer residing in the Midwest (Gilson). Not only known as an emcee medafORACLE is also a producer and mixing engineer. He produces for other local and independent artists. An artist and emcee of such type is not created, he is born and chosen. No need of wondering where Hip Hop has gone and if it's still alive because it is. medafORACLE proves this every second as he continues to keep it alive.

Wake Up AZ

yo check this out man...im not from this state but ive spent half of my life in the southwest with 6yrs of it being in Phoenix. eventho im not a native, im a resident of this stae in which i do a LOT of shows out here. most people show me love and i greatly appreciate it, but...*sigh*...this state and its state of Hip Hop really frustrates me. you have two artists...well...three artists out here who have made it to a major international level of exposure on major labels. one of them have already flopped (i aint sayin no names but if you live in AZ you know who it is) one who has recently dropped an album on Ludacris' DTP label (Willie Northpole) and my dude Rick (Juice) who is about to dropp his album shortly on Games Black Wallstreet label. here's the thing man...thie state has a HUGE lack of talent but even worse; a bigger lack of unity. no one wants to build out here and create a movement. instead they wanna claim to be the #1 rapper in AZ (suck a dick 2-tone) and have the illest crew, "we doin big things" blah, blah, blah...problem is...NONE of it is true. so this track is how i feel about AZ Hip Hop. like or love...whatever emotion this song creates (negative or good) its still REAL TALK. AZ stop playin and lets build on Hip Hop...if you not serious about Hip Hop and its a hobby to you then MOVE OUT THE WAY. click the link that says "Wake Up AZ" to listen to the track...enjoy.
